Discover STEM Week is an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. During the week of February 1-6, 2016, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History welcomes teachers and their students in grades 4-8 for hands-on activities by local scientists and engineers on a variety of themes. The themes for 2015 are:
Monday, February 1st – Chemical Engineering
Tuesday, February 2nd – Nanotechnology
Wednesday, February 3rd – Digital Design & New Technologies
Thursday, February 4th – Electrical Engineering
Friday, February 5th – Aeronautical Engineering
Saturday, February 6th – Discover STEM Day (for families, scouts, and other groups)

Eligibility Requirements: 
Teachers with students in grades 4-8 may apply using the application posted on the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History website. Teachers are encouraged to apply with full bus loads of students (50, 100). Accepted groups with receive busing (Albuquerque metro area only) and free admission to the Museum.
